The Authoring Viewer

VantagePoint™ Perspective is an authoring viewer that was designed from the ground up to provide the user with a versatile, interactive 3D visualization tool. Perspective was created for architectural design and planning visualization. It is simple to use, easy to understand, and appeals to more than CAD designers. It has a standard Microsoft Windows interface and a navigational system that is similar to those used in entertainment titles. This gives the user a familiar environment with a natural motion.

Perspective requires no CAD knowledge to be able to navigate and populate scenes. Once the data has been exported from the CAD package into a VPF file, adding it to the scene is as easy as opening the file in Perspective. When the core data is in place, culture items can be inserted by opening the VPF file you want and picking where you want it placed in the viewer.

With the authoring viewer, you can give your scenes life with our culture library or with your own library. Objects are easily added and then have the ability to be moved, rotated, scaled, or cloned to give each placement a unique look. Once your scene is complete, it is saved to a VPS file that is viewable to anyone with the authoring viewer or the free viewer.

The Free Viewer

Vantage Point Technologies offers a free viewer that is read only. This allows users with the authoring tool to distribute their data, along with the free viewer, to clients without fear of that data being manipulated. The VPS cannot be broken down so the data stored in the file is secure and deployable.
